Michael J. Hollenbeck, Esq., graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Political Science with a minor in History. Following work as a Congressional Aide in Washington, D.C., I entered law school at Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. In 1994, I earned a juris doctor and graduated Cum Laude, a distinction of honor. While in law school I was awarded the Bratton-Wirthlin Trial Advocacy Award and the American Jurisprudence Trial Advocacy Award, both for excellence in trial advocacy. During law school I clerked several years for Greenbaum Doll & McDonald in Covington, Kentucky, and came on as an associate upon passing the bar exam.

I grew up in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and returned home to open my law practice in my hometown in 1995. I am a long-standing member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), a member of the Dearborn-Ohio Counties Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association. I am a graduate of the Indiana Trial Practice Institute and recipient of a Defense Litigation Certificate from the Indiana Public Defender Council. I am licensed by the Indiana Supreme Court to practice in all State Courts in Indiana as well as the United States Federal District Court, Southern District of Indiana.
I have worked to defend the freedom and protected the futures of men, women, and youths charged with misdemeanor, felony, OWI/DUI and juvenile offenses in Southeast Indiana since 1995. I understand that every case is unique. I put a premium on my personal accessibility to my clients and am committed to providing them with support every step of the way.
